He looked behind the camera when it happened. He was reacting to his producer correcting him in his ear monitor.

Now I'm thinking of Al Rolker or whatever the hell his name is.

The ticking was him tapping his pen on his desk because the teleprompter wasn't scrolling fast enough.

Tucker is the biggest shill, it's hilarious!!!

You can see his eyes peer to the top-right (his top-left). The production team was nagging about something.

I don’t much like the guy, but cmon.. he’s put on-spot more in a week than many of you are in a year, and his line of work sees a lot more eyes. Mistakes will be made and inflated more than necessary.

Because one sounds much more threatening, and fear sells. The other sounds like a computer manufacturer to the less-knowledgeable.

You see a split second mental lapse and uncomfortable semi gulp.
In the second video, the 2 taps cause another mental lapse before slurring the following word set.
How one picks up on this is knowing the cues, and assessing the probability of timely events.
Not a knock on Tucker at all, he's one of, if not the best guys in the mainstream.

Behaviors change when you are distracted. Think about it, 90% of his job is reading a script. He gets in the zone, and simply reads a teleprompter. He doesn’t concern himself with anything but that teleprompter. It’s obvious by watching his eyes twitch back and forth as he reads it. The other 10% is reacting to interviews with an earpiece.

It’s hardly surprising that someone loses their train of thought or shifts behavior when distracted from a menial task.
