I started as a freelance programmer with just as much money in the account to afford a relatively humble living. I also had intermittent phases of having not enough money at all.

Then someone paid me $2000 (at that time) in BTC for a programming job.

I kept the BTC and did not sell any of it for 9 years. I have read countless of Peter Schiff's unqualified rants about Bitcoin and only smiled at it.

Today I don't need to work anymore (I still do but I wouldn't have to).

This "not a store of value" has made me a multi millionaire.
