Re: If The Matrix doesn't treat you well, starve it of energy
Imagine a rich guy with holes in his pockets. Everywhere he goes, coins fall out of his trousers onto the ground. People laugh at him, and follow him round picking up coins.

Humans are like rich fools. We give away our energy too easily. I know I give mine away too much. Recently I've learned to switch off my energy spigot. If a person, treats you bad, remove attention and energy from the entire MAtrix immediately, even mental attention. Don't think of them, don't focus on them, don't give them any headspace. Don't get angry, don't get scared, don't feel trapped. Don't sulk, don't get surly or bitter. Just give the local Matrix ZERO energy, and focus on things you like doing.

Don't let these ill-mannered guests play any part in your movie. They like drama and duality. They are happiest playing the persecutor role. But we can deny them that role in our collective experience.

If you learn how to switch off your loosh supply, you can start to reclaim your own energy.
 Quoting: Daozen

You can approach things how you want, but realize 'the matrix' can always just drop a fucking piano on your head if it wants your 'loosh'. You really can't 'starve it' unless it allows you to do that. It's wishful thinking, and maybe that's really useful in the grand scheme of things. Like the space jam water. It may 'work' but not via the mechanics you believe it to be working via
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74747697

You just brought up an interesting point. If we start starving the Matrix, is it going to up the ante?

In my experience... only if we get hateful. A week ago I was mentally going through a difficult conversation I needed to have with a friend. I spent 2 hours rehearsing a kind version of that conversation, then a firmer version, then a relaxed version. Then I got annoyed and imagined a more hateful version. TWO MINUTES LATER, a HUGE spider appeared in the corner of my room. I probably screamed. I tried to hit it with a mop and broom, but it was too fast for me. Alright, lesson learned: When you act hateful, the Matrix will manifest bad experiences.

But what if you withdraw peacefully, and amicably, healing the Matrix as you go? Dropping a piano on our heads would squash the golden goose. The Matrix wants to tease out our loosh slowly.

Thanks for you contributions everyone, I read them all, Got to sleep now.

That's kind of like saying if you don't like what you are painting on your canvas, don't put paint on the brush.

You are always going to be the creator of your external reality. It is your nature. The matrix IS you. There is no energy starvation, only energy transmutation.
 Quoting: LucyLucid

Not exactly. It's more like saying: Be aware of what subject you're painting, on what canvas, with what inks.

We have to do something while we're trapped in physicality. Just make sure to focus on good food, good people, and good projects. Don't ghive loosh to any auld fker.
 Quoting: Daozen

The only thing trapping you is your mind. We can tell you that in a million different ways.

Let go of all your notions of being trapped and you'll be free. No Truman no matrix no trap except that which you have manifested by your own beliefs.

Humans are stubborn and want to blame anything but themselves for the trap they themselves made.

There's an old saying about not being able to punch one's way out of a wet paper bag, and if that really is you, we will find a way together. But that likelihood is very low.
So how about you take some fucking responsibility for this shitty stunt show and elbow drop the microwave already so we can keep the party flowin. Or whatever is your 'signature move'. *Sigh* modern rasslers and 'having to get their shit in', name a more nauseating combo.

Re: If The Matrix doesn't treat you well, starve it of energy
Great thoughts, Daozen!

Years ago I was at work and was suddenly hit with the strongest depression, like a dark cloud had descended upon me. It was all I could do to finish my day in front of the clients without breaking down and losing it.

I got home and began to cry and break down, and at that moment I got a PM from a woman thousands of miles away that I knew, and she told me that they were harassing me and to not give in to their game and to fight back. I hadn’t talked to this woman in months. She described exactly every negative thought they had told me earlier that day. She said I had to learn to fight it and that once I was strong enough to stand up against them, they would attack me less bc they would realize I was too strong for them.

She also told me that I would soon be “flying with the Eagles.”

I'll get there in the end. It'll take a while, but I'm making slow progress.

I'm aware the cerebrum/brain/mind is what keeps us trapped here. I'm experiencing more and more glitches as time wears on. Eventually, something's going to crack, and I'll be free.

I don't need energizing pep talks, so much as specific guidance on what techniques to use. I'm unclear what direction to focus my mind in meditation. Up, down, inside, outside? I don't get enough specific answers from people. "Just let go" speeches only go so far.

I'll get there.

Really weird about the loud talking people you guys are mentioning that seem to steal energy. How does that work? I was at the park the other day and there was a woman there talking very loud and seemed very attention seaking. I tried to just enjoy the park with my son without paying attention but then her kid came up and pushed my kid over who was a year and half younger and never had anything happen like that before. What’s with these people.

They're trying to keep us investing energy in the dream. The best thing to do is literally walk to another spot, and try and go within. At some point it'll collapse.

Re: If The Matrix doesn't treat you well, starve it of energy
I did exactly that last evening.
I went to enjoy a quiet cup of tea on a local church parch bend I enjoy going to, watch the birds, relax, and after 15 minutes a skanky looking woman with a cell phone is taking super loud to someone on the phone, swearing, going on and on, and sits on the bench in the churchyard about 20 ft away.
At first I found it annoying, but then I decided to phase her out, and thought exactly what you are suggesting, I won’t let her steel my energy.
About 10 minutes later, she left and went and got on a bus.
I moved through the whole disturbance unlooshed.

And hers is the first voice you hear as you wake from sleep every morning ! ) ( the hell i am living for the last five years!) i dreamed a dream!

But why are they doing that? Are they doing it consciously? If it is subconscious who is controlling them? I guess TV programming? Is it bu design? It feels sometime like it is but then some voodoo makes me feel bad for thinking that way like I’m being crazy. And maybe they are really nice Im just being insecure or maybe a bit if the both. Either way it cuases confusion. It really seems by design though and I know that is nuts.

It's about energy. Once we stop investing energy the dream collapses. Some people want that, others don't. On another level, they are just characters in our own dream, testing us. There is another perception model where you can say it's us testing ourselves.

It's best not to invest much belief in any reality model, as even the ones which seem realistic (Matrix etc) can trap our energy if we over-manifest.

I actually love this take on this it’s really helpful. I cannot tell you how many times I got a promotion or moved to a new house and when I get there everything is perfect. No energy drain and then out of no where a new neighbor moves in and wham major energy drain/shift. It is like myself testing myself but it’s also like vampires to blood it’s crazy. My mom used to call it spiritual warfare is going on in the world. I guess she is right. I just don’t know how to deal with it properly though. Do I just ignore, do I pray, do I analyze their every move. Do I approach. Do I try to stop it? Or does trying to stop it make it worse. I’m paralyzed
