It won't be FUN, it won't be "romantic," or flashy - like in some freakin' movie. It'll be about 1000x WORSE than Mad Max. Cause that was fake. This will be real. LIFE OR DEATH. It is not normally fun in the books or movies either. Just the same people throughout history have bugged out and many never come back. Look at 3rd world governments that collapse and then people bug out to the 1st world. What happens if it is only your country or a couple of countries that collapse? One nuke plant could wipe out a whole region. Upwind and downwind does not matter because wind patterns change seasonally. Just expanding on the situation.
