I used this for years to duplicate honey mustard sauce. Last year I bought a jar of it and despite making the recipe for 28 years, it tasted different. The mustard lost some of its flavor. The mustard also seemed a bit more watery.

Anyone else notice that my favorite mustard no longer tastes the same? No longer seems fancy....but taste like it is using cheaper ingredients.

I've noticed too.

I picked up a jar of the Horseradish dejan to put on my pastrami and garlic sandwiches, and it didn't seem to have the same kick I remember.

Unfortunately it isn't just with Grey Poupon mustard. It seems to be across the board in food items.. always follow the money... it is always about money..cutting corners to scrimp so the profits fits or balloon.

Another example is Giarhdelli Dark Chololate Brownies (mix). It no more taste like what is my memory of them than nothing. I went out of country for 5 years ....now back and this is so tasteless I threw out the entire lump sum after having baked them up and tasted them. They taste dry and like flour with less chips. ugh!

If you are old enough to remember it is derived from the best selling poster of the man with the foot on his Rolls Royce bumper that says “Poverty Sucks”. Indeed!

Thought I would weigh in here for your confirmation. Bought it a few weeks ago to have on hot dog. Immediately said to self “it’s not special any more”. Not sure how long since I’ve had it last. Years probably.

Tastes the same, to me, and I eat a lot of it! There are other foods that have switched to cheaper ingredients but GP is still the same.
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

“Looking for consciousness in the brain is like looking in the radio for the announcer.”

– Nasseim Haramein, Director of Research for the Resonance Project

Normalize every aberrant behavior, bring common all deviancy and let fly the reins of morality and reason, then welcome in that utopia that liberals embrace called communism, that which most Americans with but a shard of ethic would immediately recognize as evil.

Cheapest and best is regular mustard and some horseradish and cracked pepper corns. Just mix together and enjoy!
