It is common to sit the suspect on ice as they build 100 percent solid charges waiting for them to break and give details in exchange for lesser sentences. No. My initial comment to which you responded simply said that Brown is not the "typical black," as I don't know any black people charged with those crimes. If it were typical, I would know lots of people faced with those charges. Far from typical activity. I agree that they are carefully sifting through the evidence to build a solid case and properly charge him. If he's in any way involved with kidnapping, hurting or killing that boy, I hope they put him under the jail and throw away the key.
