It appears so. And like has been mentioned earlier. that means there has to be a conspiracy involved that is against a federal statute. Could be drug distribution across state or national boundaries, child sex trafficking or child pornography, or any number of things but those are the most likely. It could also be because the FBI believes there is a conspiracy to violate Browns civil rights by Dallas police and or the Dallas prosecutors office, they don't seem to be getting along at all. We do know the FBI has completely taken over the forensic examination of the evidence and they are now saying it will be at LEAST a month before they finish investigating the case so it must be a lot more than it seemed on the surface..

WTAF?



The FBI would not have jurisdiction to investigate a simple kidnapping and murder in Texas, not unless the victim was brought across state lines during the commission of the crime and that would make it a federal kidnapping rap.
