I am ready to release my own preliminary findings in the Cash Gernon case, but keep in mind I am working with extremely limited information, and with a lot of misinformation injected into the narrative.

These findings are based entirely on evidence that is already in the public domain.

Cash Gernon's death was a conspiracy between at least three people who were directly involved in the planning and execution of his staged kidnapping and death. There are several people involved who also conspired to frame Brown with the crime after the fact. Everyone in the Sherrod house knew what happened to Cash, at least by 7 AM. Including Carter.

Cash Gernon was severely injured when removed from his crib, and the kidnapper knew that. There are many reasons I know this, including but not limited to , he had to make sure he got the injured child and waited until the uninjured child stirred to take Cash, Cash was in a fixed, stiff posture that is not indicative of either sleep nor of being awake, and the kidnapper knew Cash was incapable of crying out or making a fuss. He made no effort to cover his mouth or conceal his activity. Cash was in the decorticate posture state when he was taken.

Cash was taken by car from the Sherrod house. While this does not totally eliminate Brown as the suspect, it suggests the people in that home knew a car took Cash away.

The kidnapper knew someone was watching him on the nanny cam, and he was taking instruction from that person.

Cash was stabbed to cover up the earlier injury, and make it appear as if the kidnapper was alone responsible for his injuries. My feeling on it is this murder was done by some cretin the meth family was connected with through drugs. In other words they paid him to kill Cash, to "finish him off".

Monica Sherrod knew Cash was missing and injured when she called police at 6:53 AM to report a break in, and yet did not report it. It seems likely she planned for police to arrive on the scene and "catch Brown in the act" of trying to snatch the other boy. They timed the calling of police with the report of the body being found, knowing the police would be slow to respond to their own call. Their call came one minute after Cash as found, indicating they were monitoring police calls either on line or via scanner.

The original injury to Cash was most likely a violent outburst by Monica Sherrod, but this is hard to know for sure. There are many ways Cash could have been injured, but to me it seems obvious the motive was to cover up that injury however it occurred. These are not the kinds of people who bring a badly injured child to the hospital,e especially when no one really knew where the boys were staying. It appears Monica did no intend to report the boy missing at all unless the police closed in on her.

Cash was NOT carried to the scene of his body being found on the street, he was dumped from a moving car. His body rolled at least 20 ft before it came to a rest, as evidenced by the blood evidence seen on the street. The injuries to his face were likely caused by the pavement, and superficial. I know this because his funeral was not closed casket. It is highly likley he died right there in the street, and as stabbed seconds before being dumped out.

So there you have it, any prosecutor could take this information along with the forensic evidence and nail them to a cross. Lets see what happens.
