I live in a "rustic" cabin, there's plenty of gaps for critters to invade
mice used to give me the creeps, until I had a rat problem
both have jumped on me while asleep, guess which one I prefer
that baby raccoon was kinda cute though...
Quoting: Tobie Have you considered setting up a small, "stand-alone" tent and placing it on your bed to sleep in? So simple and yet, so profoundly effective. Shelter-in-a-shelter. You could also make a sleeping area that is rodent proof with drywall (cheap!) and some imagination.
