Well after the Feral Cat Holocaust, payback is a bitch.

We have an old house and we rely on them for unequalled rodent control. Enjoy your national mouse infestation is all I can say to the Aussies who endlessly bitched about cats. The point is, invasive cats WERE ROAMING THE LAND, KILLING MILLIONS OF NATIVE ANIMALS AND BRINGING SPECIES CLOSE TO EXTINCTION! Do you get it? I love cats too but GODDAM YOU'RE STUPID! All those big wooden ships during the age of sail brought in all the mice and rats from other continents. The ubiquitous Argentine ants in the US came from ships in the port of New Orleans. They kill birds too, you know. Baby birds in the nest. House cats aren't enough to make a bird extinct. Humans replacing natural nesting habitat with their cities and suburbs is what kills off the native animals.
