I began learning about investing over 35 years ago with CD's, and then learned from there...However, watching CD rates is a clue to market trajectory...Low CD rates means low inflation... Well good luck, I honestly hope it works out for you. I see a storm coming that bitcoin may not even be able to save us from. I'll keep hodling the money they can't screw with though. I'm diversified in many other assets, in my 30s, and been retired for 2 years thanks to bitcoin. You bought when it was dirt cheap, you likely didn't pay your taxes and you took the money of everyone else who lost money from bitcoin. Have a nice day, you piece of shit. I think that's what really bothers me about cryptocurrency. What am I getting by purchasing a bitcoin? I know what I get when I buy a chunk of Microsoft or Amazon... Where is my benefit in cryptocurrency? Try to sell it to me! Bitcoin is scarce, it's impossible for anyone to just create more. Bitcoin is uncensorable, nobody can stop you from transferring it anywhere in the world. Bitcoin is unconfiscatable, no government can reach into your account and snatch it in the dead of night. Your dollars are none of those things. If you can't see the value in that then I don't know what to tell you. Think of it like real estate or gold, you're buying a piece of the largest computing network in the world, that was designed to do nothing more than be the best money mankind has ever seen. Sure the value will fluctuate against the dollar like those other assets do, but for the last 12 years it's been nothing but up in long timeframes. To me the other cryptos are cheap knock offs, not unlike the peso. |
