80s female hair styles and makeup were over-the-top compared to the 90s when it all that came down to earth.

Even when it was over-the-top in the 90s, it was a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the 80s.

I realize that's all subjective, but I thought everyone agreed basically that 80s female hair styles and makeup don't hold up whereas that stuff from the 90s still generally looks great.
