Women would approach men a lot more back then for dates because it was before the Internet and phone apps ruined dating.

Why in the world would a woman ask a guy out now when she can get endless offers on the Internet?

I am not even sure that the Internet is good for women in terms of dating. I believe being proactive usually produces the best results, but with women never having to be proactive in dating anymore, it actually limits their results more than expanding them.

I mean, women can automatically sort men by things like income, height, and looks on a phone app without considering intangibles like personality at all.
