My wonderful wife was born in 1986. She's Peruvian but light-skinned and looks more Italian than anything.

She is still stuck in the 80's and early 90s.

She can usually be seen with her ear phones in dancing to synthwave, depeche mode, or Nine Inch Nails while doing doing whatever she needs to do with housework.

My 17 year old step daughter (yes my wife had her early) is a 90s girl and she doesnt even know it. She loves her Sublime, her Butthile Surfers, her Everclear, and her Nirvana.

The 80s and 90s are alive and well in my house because my wife and I not only grew up in that time but we also pay homage to the fact that was the last of an age where the world was still a little bit kind, people were a little more real, the music hadn't been completely brought down into perverted trash or mumble rap, and the only thing people were worried about was if Bill Clinton had sexual relations with that woman.


If 'Doc' Brown showed up with his Delorean my wife and I would have no problems going back to the 1980 and reliving the 80s and 90s in perpetuity.

9/11 was literally a marker for an end of an age.
