Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine" isn't a love song. It's a song about her personal philosophy of romance. Who could possibly construe this song as a love song? Twain is like a drill sergeant barking out orders on how things have to be. And her man could only possibly answer, "Mam. Yes, mam." ...or he's not her man anymore. It's more like armed robbery than romance. Nonetheless, this song and this woman check all the boxes on the spirit of the 90s. Total hottie too of course. [ link to youtube.com (secure)]
