That didn't seem profound at the time, but it's incredibly profound now. We were all being hit with a magical energy that we couldn't understand in my opinion. Bwahaha - this video does sum up most women now, sadly and is a precursor to airbrushing image altering and app editing. This video was compressed sideways and stretched out and only to hide how fat she thought she was and she was bulimic. You couldn't have picked a sadder video to try to illustrate your point about how different women were then than now. How can you completely ignore the message of the song, and just focus on the music video? That song has a powerful message that described the time period very well.
