Forgive my ignorance please... but, my family splits the cost of beef every year by buying a quarter each of a cow from a local farmer Are you telling me that because of some ransomware or some internet attack that has happened somewhere that this option won’t be available to us anymore? Or is that only for store bought beef like in major grocery chains? I realize that I am starting to sound like an old person lately ( I’m getting kinda old actually ) but the insanity never seems to stop. So please tell me is this bs or is this the beginning of the end to our family tradition?

This will also backlog causing even more problems. Farmers may have to kill livestock just for the hell of it or keep feeding which will make the price go up.
