I am very sorry for your loss and literally know exactly how you feel. I lost my best friend of 30 years yesterday as well. He was 57.

Good old friends are almost a thing of the past OP. You and your friend were blessed to have each other.

I honestly thanked God for her while sitting meditating the other day.I know I was lucky to have her, I just don't have a lot (none) of other friends.

Hello Gami...So sorry for your loss Although the pain feels strong it will eventually fade..
Even if you think that things may come to an end sooner rather than later, it still comes as a shock.

If it helps just a little, try and think of the good times especially those that made you laugh. Try not to think guilt that you may not have been close enough to make frequent visits.. In her heart and yours... you know you were close..... Take comfort with the memories.

I'm so sorry OP. I know how it is to lose someone that's closer than family to you.

I lost my brother from a another mother in 2010 to an undiagnosed heart problem.

One day he's a happy, healthy 29 year old enjoying volleyball on the beach and making wedding plans, the next he's gone.

Just know we'll all be reunited with the kindred souls we loved one day and keep living your best life while keeping your friends precious legacy alive in your memories you shared with her.

Truly sorry for your loss Gami. It is really heartbreaking to lose someone you had such a connection with for so long. And way, way too young.

At least I hope you find comfort in the beautiful memories you two shared, ones that only you have. Through that she will always live on in the deepest red of your heart. And one day you will find each other again..
