Mysterious Nixie Water Spirits

Here in Bali (Indonesia), they have a temple for the spirits and guardians of every water spring, every bridge over rivers, places where the river meets the ocean, places where two rivers meet each other, etc etc

It is said that huge powerful spirit kingdoms are out in the ocean (Bermuda triangle for example)

She used to but now she hangs out in my bloodstream most of the time. She is a creek sprite so she originally came from a creek.

We saw one in Hawaii, we pointed and talked aloud but no one else seemed to see it. They in fact did not seem to see us pointing they ignored us like we were not there.
The bible talks of elementals, we are not to worship them.

Worship or cooperation or exchange of knowledge are different things

For a fascinating almost-study in elementals, read Anatole France's "La Rôtisserie de la Reine Pédauque" - it's a novel situated in 18th century France with a pronounced occultic flavor, with a lot of action yet you'll learn some new philosophical concepts and maybe even have some insights.

"Nixie" some from the German "Nixe". In German folklore, Nixies were water spirits who would try and pull the unwary passer-by down, deep into the water.

Nobody said we should worship elementals.

This happened to me once when I was hiking alone.

Didn’t seem malicious though, more playful than anything.

It did suck hiking out of the forest sopping wet!
