It isn't that he called me nuts, whatever. The terrifying thing is that there was no discussion, he didn't care about facts or evidence. He simply would not discuss. They have brainwashed much of the public into actually believing that open discussion and free thinking are bad, scary even. And, facts don't matter. I hear y’a. I got into a convo this weekend with a good longtime friend who is somewhat in the middle politically. Grew up in a dem family, but registered Republican. He is very, very much like your (former) friend. No matter how precise I was regarding the info he should be considering, giving him names of virologists and microbiologists to seek out and research, pointing him to well researched media to read, he basically didn’t want to hear any of it (and admitted that he never took the time to read any links I’d sent him in the past). He actually said “you are in the minority,” which is why I don’t believe. The thousands of scientists and doctors say you’re wrong, so why should I believe a few crackpots on YouTube? In other words, he’s a closet dim still, and his perception is that MSM still represents a majority of thought in this country. That they are still trustworthy in this insanity - even after years of me pointing him to countless reasons as to why they’re not (trustworthy or representative of majority opinion).

Now that I understand his psychopathy, I see what I need to do to help him finally (because I care), but I would have laughed and walked away from most anyone else. The programming is strong, amazingly so. And it certainly did not help that he received his “jabs” with no ill effect. Which I’m happy about, but I do believe that many of these are controls (not the real thing) and he probably got one of those. Maybe he will wake up before the “booster.” If not, God’s will I guess.

I disagree. If your daughter is trying to keep a friend hopefully she can say what she needs to say and move on to something else.

Your daughter has a good heart. It's that simple.

My daughter just finished her freshman year in college and considers herself a libertarian leaning conservative. Today she went to meet up with one of her best friends from high school and she told me she planned to just lie and tell her friend she was vaccinated because her friend is so rabid about masks and the vaccine. I think it's pretty sad that she can't just be honest but she is afraid of losing her friend over their differences in political beliefs. This is the last liberal friend she has left. The others have already blocked her on social media, told her she is a horrible person, etc, because she has differing political views.
