If you're going to tell people not to get vaccinated, what do you expect? You speak your mind, and others can speak their minds as well. Neither one of you have any (noticeable) mental illnesses based on this conversation alone. Just because you offer to send him some research doesn't mean he has to be willing to look at it. The same goes for him offering up his research for you. For every "link" you send him, he is equally capable of linking peer-reviewed, published, double-blind studies on COVID as well. And you're in the minority in the medical community when it comes to the subject of COVID, so the burden really isn't on him in a simple conversation with you to produce all sorts of "evidence" and "facts" that are published in any number of medical journals.

It's a touchy subject, and obviously some people have known others who have succumbed to COVID, so if you're going to go around telling people not to get vaccinated, be prepared for the inevitable blowback. I don't know how or why you didn't see that coming.
