I can pretend that I am also vaccinated and then ask them if they think it's odd that those of us who are vaccinated want to keep the unvaccinated away from us. |

PIPEDA is blanket privacy coverage for all citizens and residents - medical records, financial / tax records, etc. are protected items the ED is related to "electronic documents" it's the same thing with medical exemptions from wearing masks the mask-nazi at the door of a walmart etc. cannot ask you to provide proof of your medical exemptions the only recourse they have is 'reasonable' accommodation meaning they can choose to deny entry for no mask but they cannot say no you cannot purchase our goods or services and must accommodate your requests eg. online / telephone / fax etc. ordering and curbside pickup or delivery as for denying entry for non vaxx. they have no way of knowing without asking for your medical info and therefore they cannot deny entry as far as the "employer's" mandatory vaxx. policy I'd take that up with the provincial ministry of human resources / labor relations and maybe consult a lawyer that specializes in wrongful dismissal cases oh hai! |
