That first post made me sad, upset and depressed.

Then I thought about how my mom is still independent

and living comfortable and happily.

We should concentrate on how wonderful it is they

are around and not dwell on what is coming...

They killed mine.

He was artistic, and a National Socialist. This isn't anything like the socialism you're referring to.

Mom was having an ok day.


She is in a good facility.


They were giving her a cognitive impairment test. She passed with flying colors. Her IQ is 148. Former judge. Still an attorney here. She is 77. She will turn 78 this year.


Broke her hip. Possible rotator cuff injury as well -- in a fall. She is in a long term physical rehab facility. Probably until the 22nd.

Sucks to see a parent in pain.

Dad died of cancer back in '02.

I hope they are able to help her.

I hope so, too.
