We voted to give him a second chance. He has as of yet not had that chance. He's no more pompous asshole now then the first time you voted for him.

Desantis and Pompeo will take the America first mask off and reveal the rhino/neocon hybrid within two seconds of taking office.

Could you give me a synopsis of what you believe god will do in regards to Trump and the USA? I’d love to hear it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72423072

Well, if you are willing to educate yourself as to the similarities and differences between a nation, a state, a republic, a confederacy, a federation, and the difference between the United States of America, and the U.S., then we would have a basis for discussion.
 Quoting: Augmentalist

I’m already educated on those.
Could you elaborate on this though? I highlighted it.
There’s a difference?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72423072

If you haven't read the Law of Nations, it is doubtful we have the same depth of understanding of the initial terms.

the United States of America was a confederacy of colonies which were more like nation-states than they were not.

The United States is a Federation of states with a constitution meant to both privilege and govern those who work for the federal government. On the surface it created a federal (aristocratic) republic but it so unnecessarily undermined the sovereignty of the states that the anti-federalists had to force the "bill of rights" in hopes of restraining the beast that was created.

The United States was never authorized to be created by a quorum of elected delegates of the congress of the original 13 members of the United States of America (Confederacy). It was forced by a majority unelected European-masonic alliance at the "2nd Continental Congress".

It was more or less forced upon the American population and it was directly overseen by the Crown and the Vatican beginning with the Treaty of Paris.

Today you see the result.
 Quoting: Augmentalist

Well, well. Look at this. Me and you wholeheartedly agree.
110% correct!!!!!

So. What to do?

Trump can suck Deez Nutz.

At least Trump women are hot.

Biden women are like hobgoblins that make your flesh crawl.

He didn't have to pay them, though. And he's faithful to them. And they're, ya know, American. That's got to be worth something.

I'm sure you've got some doublethink comeback to that, though.

The US never seems to move on from politics. You get a new President and right after, you start talking about the next election. It happens every time.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43720895

Social engineering only works if you hook the masses into the news cycle so they do not see the big picture or what is really going on.

This is why those that are tuned in scream about one side of the issue one year and then years later scream about the other side. Having no recollection they were opposite side 4 years prior.

 Quoting: ^TrInItY^

Our politicians are selected, not elected.
 Quoting: Very Interesting

Until they aren't.

You really believe they selected Trump in 2016?

lol

No, they didn't. They just vastly underestimated the sleeping giant and the pure disdain Americans (including Democrats) had for Hillary Clinton.

They didn't make the same mistake twice, however, and they made sure the Dominion/Mail-in-votes fix was in for 2020.

They want you to believe you are powerless.

The truth is, they only have the power that YOU give them, nothing more, and nothing less.

Their biggest fear is that one day people will wake up, rise up, and pull down the curtain of their big charade.

Alas, people are too complacent and rather than work towards something meaningful, they would rather sit on their ass justifying their complacency with cliches like "My vote doesn't count anyways, so I'm not voting".

They love those kind of sheep...the kind that willingly come to dinner when mutton is on the menu.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78551315

Yes. They. Did.

They(the ones who pull the strings) put in who they want, when they want, where they want. It’s been that way a long time.
Choice has been but an illusion.
 Quoting: Very Interesting

Yes, yes...I've heard it for the last 20+ years.

And everyone involved are world class, Oscar worthy, actors and actresses that love living in the middle of a hurricane-like shitstorm while they're in office...

epiclol

It's a nice fantasy.

I can see the appeal because it relieves you of all responsibility and accountability, which is something most people abhor.

Now I do believe they carry a massive influence as evidenced in the non-stop shitfest they did on Trump through all MSM/Social Media 24x7 for 4.5 years.

That I believe.

But I don't believe that people are powerless to effect change. That's just the lazy person's cop-out for being complacent and lazy.

You get some of that from both the left and right. But the leftwing part of the political spectrum is way more unprincipled and devious than the right. So way more dishonesty, hypocrisy, idiocy and contradictions come from liberals than conservatives.

There aren't too many conservative or rightwing versions of hosebags like Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary/Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, George Soros, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, the burghers of Silicon Valley or the burghers of Beijing.

BTW, NYC's Wall Street donated way more to Joe Biden in 2020 than it gave to Donald Trump.

Unfortunately politics affects everyone's life in major ways.

It affects jobs, take home wages and taxes, state level funding, property taxes, education, whether someone goes to jail for having a joint, whether you can protect your family from an intruder using a gun, etc. It literally affects EVERYTHING you can and can not do.

That's why people care...you'd have to be a fool not to care.

I get what you mean, but a docile, apathetic or low-morale citizenry is the ideal formula for the corruptocrats of left-leaning Mexico or even more left-leaning PCC China. Or the corruptocrats of left-leaning Europe/EU.

A lot of honest, decent, ethical, rational, sensible, empathetic people around the world tend to be strangers in their own land.
