Re: Should Republicans Move On From Trump?
Personally, I'm sick of Trump.

He's a pompous asshole and he failed us.

It's time to move on to some REAL LEADERSHIP...

DeSantis / Pompeo 2024

- FOR THE WIN!

Never fall in love with personalities. Sometimes a Republic needs a Jefferson. Sometimes it even needs a Franklin. Sometimes it needs a Hamilton. Sometimes it needs a Trump. Liberty is the thing. Comes the time, comes the man, or woman. Comes the time, it's always LIBERTY!

the only reason why its impossible for a R to win imo. the media will excoriate them. unfortunately Trump would be the only one to whether these attacked arrayed against himself. hes proved that time and time again. other than that hes totally rudderless without the party and or staff who dont have his back. why should we trust him again, he had his chance and fucking blew it and the country with it.

As someone that is very right wing, I'm done voting for republicans.
Republicans are so weak they are basically useless.
Democrats control the narrative and impose their will so only way of getting out of this shit is if they become pro white.

Because weak ass republicans aren't going to do a damn thing.
We elect politicians to be brave and to fight our political battles for us, republicans will not do that.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79779655

And no I'm not a damn democrat and this is not an argument.

people, why are you not fucking seeing the elephant in the room, how the fuck do you plan and intend to change the system

by voting for your candidates with the same systems that installed Biden in 2020?!

And look at all the people, including even a Donald Trump, will tend to see a friendly, smiling "progressive" like a, say, Ivanka Trump or Jared Kushner, who'll go, "well, they seem nice enough, they have college degrees, they're experienced, we share mutual friend, we have mutual hobbies. How bad can he/she/they be?"

Sort of a variation of the way that ruthless, inhumane, despotic ultra-liberals like a Joseph Stalin will get a nickname similar to "Uncle Joe." Or maybe "Lefty" or "Lefties."

When you're dealing with political Dr Jekyls/Mr Hydes, that's a dangerous game to play.

it's demographic change, you can look at the charts for races and how they vote, only ones that vote majority republicans are European Americans.

They've fallen from 90% to 60% of the population.

Only way for the system to drag on without 1 party control is if a 3rd party comes about.

Re: Should Republicans Move On From Trump?
Actually Trump has maybe lost almost one third of his base.

Yes, two thirds are true blue and that also isn't about to change either.

The GOP doesn't have to continue with Trump but they best respect him and politely show him the door.

Two thirds are too much too alienate for the Republican Party as well.

If they try to just screw Trump and his supporters...to Ron Paul him...they will pay...possibly for a long time to come.
 Quoting: Builder of the Adytum

The Senate minorirty leader, Turtle McConnell, is a traitor who sleeps with a Chinese communist with heavy interest in shipping their poisonous goods to the US.

The House minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, sleeps in the bed of a Dem pollster, Fran Luntz, who's TDS has him rigging his own focus groups to lean antiTrump.

All because Luntz went to Trump before he was elected and asked him for $1 million and Trump kicked him out of his office.

What kind of "Party Leadership" is that.

The GOP is dead and Trump is their only hope for revival, but he should just throw dirt on them and move on with his 80 million followers.

hesright
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80119319

If anybody could form a third party and maybe win it would be Trump.

But many of that 80 million have walked already.

He would have to get them back.

And there would still be the problem of fair elections.
 Quoting: Builder of the Adytum

He's anti-crypto and anti-cannabis. That alone makes me unsupportive. It's easy for him to be against crypto. He's borrowed money all of his life for failed businesses. (He's rich from borrowing.) So, of course he's pro-fed. But, that doesn't work for other people working their way up in this world.

He won't get my vote for anything.

Anti-crypto = pro-Fed

I am not pro or anti-crypto,

People should be free to develop new currencies independent of the Fed, though, imo.

I don't personally have any crypto.

Yep, because you have soft, soft conservatives (at best) like Mitt Romney (actually, he's a closeted liberal), Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, etc.

The greed, corruption, decadence, debasement and meanness in today's America can be traced to a society moving further and further to the left for over 60 years.

Thanks, liberals, for all that you do. You ain't got nothing on SARS-CoV-2 or late-stage cancer. Congratulations.

He led 1 million of his followers into a Reichstag Fire type false flag. He either knowingly did it, which makes him controlled opposition and a Traitor. Or he unknowingly did it which makes him the biggest dumb ass in US History. Either way, only those with Stockholm Syndrome would continue to follow him.
