Last time we voted President Trump was overwhelmingly elected President.

Apparently, we will have to wait until a couple of usurpers and their handlers are swinging from gallows.

Why dont you wait until the audit results come out. That will be the deciding factor for me. I love Desantis. Whether or not he gets the Prez nomination or the VP nomination depends on the audit results IMO.

The rest of these fools probably have dirt on them. They're all dirtballs
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79853610

That’s where I’m at too. As hard as they went after Trump, they couldn’t find any real dirt. I’m conflicted. I like Trump but as others pointed out, he was ineffective at cleaning out the trash.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80262170

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Like Trump or not... nobody can deny who was constantly attacking him.
Those attacking him are/were vile and disgusting, evil people who are very clearly enemies of mine... thereby making Trump a friend and ally because he dug-in and fought them.

I still haven't lost faith in him and still think he and the military are going to pull off something big. I am growing very impatient though, I must admit.

Should people move on from Trump? Absolutely, but it isn't going to matter who you want to vote for because I don't believe there will even be another election. People talking about voting for anybody shows just how brainwashed people really are.

i dunno.

they're crazy if they think i'm voting for one of them though.

and you are too if you plan on it.

i can't think of anyone they could run that i'd possibly vote for at the moment, but things could change. (not because i'd ever vote democrat, but because 99% of the republicans that would run are just fucking awful)

This country needs a strong 3rd party and I like the idea of government funded campaigns. This way we get true fresh blood in the game that isn't spoiled or owned.

There has to be a lot of great ideas from the less fortunate in our society, which is the bigger pool to draw from.

Re: Should Republicans Move On From Trump?
I'm sick of all of it, so I'm probably not the person to ask.

I'm of the opinion that our system will only work properly if the leadership has a sense of actual duty to the citizenry rather than to their own legacy (however they perceive it).

I'm also not entirely convinced it's possible to find enough people who qualify to lead in the first place. Humans are by nature very competitive. Someone always wants to be on top, and they trample everything good in their path. That makes having a true government by and for the people nearly impossible.

How can we have a country by and for the people if it's run by people for and of themselves?

I'm very grumpy today though, so maybe I'll revisit the thread later with more optimism.

Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Re: Should Republicans Move On From Trump?
of course, Tramp had 4 years of his presidency, all the scissors and the paper to drain the swamp and lock them up

he warned about the fucking AIPAC owned Dominion Voting Machines months ahead of the elections, yet hasn't done jackshit about it Ever hear of States' Rights? It's up to the states to change their voting laws. Trump voiced many warnings for months before the election.

he allowed the Bolshevik coup d'etat and peacefully transitioned the power to these sold out Communist traitors

he's as guilty as they are, he's basically part of them and their system, since he allowed all this shit in the first place to play out, he's a sold out, bankrupted, scumbag traitor

but two more weeks

that Black dude, Republican Senator from, don't know which State he comes, he should run with De Sanctis, MAGA
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79750712

Trump signed the Insurrection Act after the commie democrats forced Biden to be illegally sworn in. Because the military is in charge once the Insurrection Act is in force, Trump had to leave because he was no longer in charge of the country; the military is. Unknown to millions of stupids like you, the military considers Trump to be the true president who won the election and they will prove it eventually. You just don't have the patience or brains to wait.
