how many thousands of PCs, servers, and mainframe servers does the global banking industry have?

how many thousands of ATMs are deployed worldwide?
- note: ATM's have one job, banking "teller" services
- the average Jack or Jan uses their PC for other things besides crypto

how many thousands of tonnes of metals are deployed globally by the banking industry as coin currency?

how many billions of printed paper and mylar "bank notes" are deployed globally?

every transaction the "traditional" banking industry does is transacted and stored on computers.

before computers this was all done on paper ledgers

I'm not a fan of crypto, however, the disaster with crypto isn't environmental
the "traditional" banking industry uses significantly more resources

the potential disaster is the loss of hard cash currency
which will be another step toward the "Mark"

Yep, if we're talking about a hyper inflation scenario then you're better off buying as many padlocks as you can, or whatever you know will be in demand, and fill your garage, and resell them at a discount compared to any store which will get you a lot more money than you paid for them.
