In this narrative the manipulation is feeding this websites oft "Right" viewpoint that higher wages lack solvency by connotation that the employees are wrong and therefore eventually getting what they deserve in the end by probably losing their jobs.

Many of the denizens here readily believe that the "Left' is manipulated, shaped, and molded to fit an agenda. In my opinion this is just as much true for the political "Right".
