I've been on and off vegan/vegetarian for 20 years. Currently on a 6 year run.. but you better believe your ass if SHTF I won't hesitate to eat some rabbit stew to keep my family alive.

Protein from eggs is way easier than meat too. Yup. Vegetarianism and prepping fit together quite nicely. I've been vegan 24 years. Vegetarian 5 years before that. 29 years total without eating animal flesh. Animals are not food to me. I've found I need less food in general the more I meditate and live a calm lifestyle. Prepping needs to include spiritual practices.
