I'm not a vegetarian but considering converting
At least vegetables are 'clean', who knows where modern meat comes from or how it is processed. Some is really disgusting.

Eating animals is terrible in every way. I raise and murder my own animals. I cleaned and froze 10 rabbits last week. They are tastey.
