The threads of fate

The physical world can be likened to a tapestry woven with threads of fate.

Nature functions on a deterministic basis. Plants and animals spring forth and nature endows them with instinctual drives. Creation moves forward through the mechanism of stimulus-response and the development of nature forms a pattern.

The majority of humans are no different. Driven by instinct, reacting to stimuli, and living within established systems of belief and morality. The pattern for man is more complex but man is still bound to his thread of fate within it.

The secret of nature is that it is derived of spirit. Spirit descended into physicality. In plants, animals and the animalistic-man this spirit has only evolved to the level of stimulus-response. Thus the illusion of a materialistic existence devoid of spirit.

Man is capable of becoming self-aware. He is capable of noticing the patterns of the tapestry in which he has gained awareness. This happens through the expansion of consciousness, which leads to what he perceives as synchronicity. Through such synchronicity he may begin to glimpse the interconnected nature of literally everything in existence.

Numbers, words, symbols, and events once meaningless now begin to relate back to him directly. At this perilous point he may succumb to madness, if he cannot put it all together and see the big picture.

The purpose is the development of an autonomous spiritual unit independent of the spiritual hierarchy which emanated its essence into material existence. A unit of awareness that may rise beyond the limitations of said hierarchy, by evolving beyond the threads of fate which defined its origin.

If you think about it, the process is not unlike what one would expect in the creation of an AI singularity...
