We have gone full communist with CR-S, which they are not calling critical race theory, but rather culturally responsive teaching-sustaining education framework ( [link to www.nysed.gov] This shit HAS to be read to be believed, GLP. American education is inequitable (but they never say why diversity is good or why inequity is bad) because it "routinely confers advantage and disadvantage based on linguistic background, gender, skin color, and other characteristics" and "must be clearly understood, directly challenged, and fundamentally transformed."

NY wants a system that creates students who are sociopolitically conscious and socioculturally responsive; and students who have a critical lens through which they challenge inequitable systems of access, power, and privilege.

Anonther actual passage from the document: "While schooling has traditionally privileged the
capital of families from dominant backgrounds, CR-S positions educators to acknowledge, value, and leverage the wealth of knowledge found in communities that have been marginalized...However, culturally responsive education must also be sustaining, that is it must work to encourage cultural pluralism and not cultural assimilation."
