Makes me remember when DDT was all the rage as the best option for killing bugs. Then the bugs started developing resistance to DDT, because a lot of them died of as a result, and farmers had to use more DDT to get the same effect. Meanwhile birds eggs got very thin and flimsy. Now it's banned from use in the US.

a friend of my sister died Saturday of an aneurism, my gf best friend died yesterday, prelim autopsy showed blood clots. both happened suddenly and unexpectedly.

A couple and their young daughter were in the lobby of trump towers when he walked by. He stopped and asked if they were staying in the hotel , looking at the little girl and asking her if she was rich. I was repulsed by this for some reason.
