My poor daughter is the same. I adopted her when she was 6 so we have no blood relation, and she is of Irish decent.

She said something really funny the other week, she said she was going to really work on a tan this year. My son and I turn dark within just a few days in the summer sun. So I put my arm up to her the other day and asked her how that tan was coming, she got all huffy and said she’s still working on it. She still looks like a sheet of paper, with freckles. Poor kid.
