in the Hebraistic sense of the health of an individual.

I was reading Barnes' Notes commentary and thought it fits.

“ it seems to be a universal truth in regard to all the visitations of God to wicked people for punishment, that he comes upon them at a time when they are not expecting him, and that they have no faith in the predictions of his advent. So it was in the time of the flood; in the destruction of Sodom Gomorrah, and Jerusalem; in the overthrow of Babylon: so it is when the sinner dies, and so it will be when the Lord Jesus shall return to judge the world.”

Not secure or security as everyone thought.

That's a really interesting way of looking at it.

Think about the meaning of “safe” and “effective”

Safe here means something like it not bad, that it is ok for your health

Effective means it’s reliable and we can trust it to work.

The Bible is a translation. The original meaning is there

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape

PEACE - WHOLNESS/WELFARE/HEALTH

SAFETY - "NOT TOTTER"

ISAIAH 54 - "MY COVENANT OF PEACE WILL NOT TOTTER"

Peace should encompass Heath and Pain Free.

I know I can not wait until I am no longer experiencing Mental...Physical pain. Good Health.

It’s funny most deniers think the deception will be straight forward.

If it was people wouldn’t get deceived

The full filled prophecy is more accurate than the translation

So then with all the doom and end of world predictions constantly in front of us and in our awareness, nothing will happen while we are waiting and preparing for it.

the passages this is talking about are warnings so that believers will not be caught off guard. It is the wicked that do not heed the prophecies.

It’s a very noticeable series of horrible events that are to happen before Jesus returns to judge the world. No one will be caught off guard.

Maybe you learn about the great deception
The whole world has been caught off guard.

When writing a letter, the P.S. is at the end.

Jesus warned us about DECEPTION in our time.
Deception so deep, so devious that, if possible, even the elect could be deceived.

That's why He said, "Follow Me" and "OBEY My words"
DO what Jesus commanded. Listen to Him. Allow Him to lead you.

Follow Jesus and He will lead you to everlasting life.
He meant for us to listen/obey Him. Not listen to religious leaders!

The dire predictions of judgment - tribulation & wrath, darkness, a snare and sudden destruction.
Jesus - coming like a thief in the night.
Men's hearts failing them for fear of the things coming upon the earth .. most have heard or read these predictions.

But, somehow the 'wicked people' can't believe it will actually happen.
They do not expect these events to happen to them.

Maybe they haven't seen certain specific signs yet.
Peace and safety. The mark or 'man of sin'.

Religious leaders are telling people that there will be no consequences or judgment for taking the vax.
Saying it's not the mark.
No worries. God accepts and understands their situation. Comforting words of rapture & escape.
The religious leaders tell their followers what is nice to hear.
These church people cannot believe that they will be caught in a snare of sudden destruction.
They believed in man-made doctrines and formulated timelines. They believed what their leaders told them the Bible said.
They were faithful followers of popular teachers who taught man-made Bible doctrines.

But they exchanged Truth for peace and safety.
Jesus is TRUTH.
Follow Jesus. The WAY TRUTH and LIFE.

Its not so much about sin as about nature.man calls it sin but sin is just ignorance of nature.
