Used to be able to get a 2-pack for $20, last I looked they were $30 for the same 2-pack.

Got some pork steaks that used to be about $8.50 and they were $13 now.

Bacon that used to be $3.58 a pack last week is $6 now. I don't eat a Lot of chicken but I hear that's gone up too.

Milk as well, $1.80 a gallon is now $3 here. Eggs have gone up about a dollar. It's only going to get worse.

And Biden spending that much in 5 months didn't affect anything at all huh? The globalist establishment thanks you for defending their honor while they destroy what's left of America.

I found chicken this weekend Legs and Thighs for .99 cents a pound and split bone in breasts for $1.99 a pound.

sometimes I'll see those on special 3 for ~$22 and I make sure to grab 2-3 packs

$48 USD for 3 though is fkn outrageous

Looks pretty pale for a ribeye.

I noticed 3 in there so that's about 7 bucks a ribeye. Still cheaper than a restaurant.

$180 will fetch 10-11lbs of local grass fed beef, 2 dozen pasture raised eggs, 1 1/2 lbs of grass fed butter, 1lb of sweet Italian sausage, and 1lb of maple bacon delivered to my door. That’s the monthly amount that Bezos no longer receives from me.

Wow! Sure am glad I buy my beef from the pasture behind my house... ~$850 for a quarter of a cow (~180 lbs), processed and packaged. Grass fed up until about 3 to 6 months before it's slaughtered then grain fed.

Pretty good beef too, a good assortments of cuts and ground.

That's actually pretty decent. Just watch the expiration dates on meats like that.

I buy a half a cow every 6-8 months. $ 2.25 lb. hanging weight and about a $275.00 processing fee. Grass-fed, no hormones, from a local farmer. Even the cheap cuts are tender. I'll never go back to a supermarket for beef.

OP, hate to sound like Debbie Downer, but have you tried a magnet test on the beef?

Bought from private family farm, grass fed, grass finished (not corn or grain), average less than $7 a pound for all sorts of cuts - tenderloin, ground (without the lips and things like that), rib eye, ribs, shoulder roast - a big assortment of 70 pounds or so for $470. Few farmers are as passionate about the purity of their beef, but they are out there. They included free pack of beef hot dogs which are exceptionally robust and great-tasting. S3Meats.

When the price of tomatoes, popcorn, and A1 steak sauce becomes prohibitive, then I think we are close to some real DOOM.

You will find tremendous deals for the next several weeks as some farmers who are facing drought dispose of their stock. After that it will be more difficult.

Farmers only get about $1.30 per pound on the hoof. Pumping that up to $15 plus is an outright crime, it should hit the shelves for about $2.50 once you subtract the bones and intestines.
