If it's not obvious to some people, get your eyes and ears checked. If that fails, you're dumb as a bag of rocks. Every rule of propaganda was met with this stunt, name one that wasn't, I dare anyone. Here's a refresher: The rule of simplification: reducing all data to a simple confrontation between ‘Good and Bad’, ‘Friend and Foe’. The rule of disfiguration: discrediting the opposition by crude smears and parodies. The rule of transfusion: manipulating the consensus values of the target audience for one’s own ends. The rule of unanimity: presenting one’s viewpoint as if it were the unanimous opinion of all right-thinking people, draining the doubting individual into agreement by the appeal of star-performers, by social pressure, and by ‘psychological contagion’. The rule of orchestration: endlessly repeating the same messages in different variations and combinations. Goddamn near everything we see and hear these days is propaganda and if it ever happened at all it's been twisted into something useable as propaganda. Do I believe this incident actually occurred as opposed to being staged from start to finish? Not a chance in hell. Always remember, the news media qualifies as entertainment which means they can publish and broadcast any damn thing they please including outright lies and propaganda and no one can do anything about it. |
