Re: At what point does one snap ?
An interesting question. It brings to mind the film apocalypse now; where at some point, each character snaps.
But what exactly is snapping ? I'm guessing there are diffrent levels of snapping with the lowest being an individual In a catatonic state, unable to communicate or defend themselves. And the highest level being someone who has lost their composure and is in a state of emotional and physical turmoil, but can still communicate and defend themselves.

People snap when they run out of answers to the complex problems of life. The real "problem" is that all of our problems in life are created by us. We're not victims. We're subjects of cause and effect. Be careful what you cause, because you might not be able to deal with the effect.

You don't! You Ranger the fuck up! Put on your goddamn big boy (or girl) undies, wipe your ass, and be goddamn man! (or woman) We're all gonna die! Die standing up. Leave something behind for our kids other than a technocracy and blue haired freaks. You do what you gotta do.

Mother fucking coward quitters sock it in, quit, or go shoot up some gaggle of innocents. You nut the fuck up! That's what you do. You put your faith in God and a core system of beliefs that we are all created equal in the eyes of Lord, it is how we choose to live fucking life that defines us! Make sure you leave this life with the scales of your life tipped to the net positive.

I've been shot, stabbed, stomped, hit by an exploding air bag, bitten by a Black Widow that threw me into A-fib for awhile. I've dodged death more times than Archer and Indian Jones.

I ache like a mother fucker. But, every time I think I can't go on! I remind myself I got a wife, a kid, and six siblings with kids of their own that need me. I got more reasons to live than not! And so do you! I remind myself there's some little girl or boy at Shriner's or Jude's that smiles when they are being wheeled into radiation or a bone marrow transplant.

We fight! We fight for all of them who can't. That's what humans do. We rage against the dying of the light. Not the light of our mortal coil, but the light inside.

Suppose it's different for each of us.

We all fight battles, some more challenging than others, if you're lucky, you may catch a break before the next hand grenade is lobbed at you. Those breaks are good, it's a reset of sort. What if however there are no breaks, just more hand grenades, day, after day, after day.

At what point does the cumulative effect just become to much, mentally you becone trashed, physically your body revolted years ago, yet somehow you push on just because. Long ago hope left you, you've stopped kidding yourself that tomorrow will be better. You still say your prayers, you remain grateful for what you have but you know tomorrow will be just as brutal if not more so.

I see nothing but a downward spiral from where I sit.

Mind you, I still believe in Christ and place my hope in Him alone to save me. Prayer always helps too I find.

But yeah, I pretty much given up hope in this world ever getting any better.

You must accept all that comes your and never lose your faith.

Keep saying your prayers.

I have learned many years ago that prayers are a total waste of time. Proving this is quite simple when you look at the world and observe the ones who enjoy the greatest most wonderful lives, ruling over us torment filled peons. It is as if the universe gives an abundance of great karma only to the absolute worst of humans. Just observe the world to see this.

I guarantee that nearly every billionaire who would stab their own mother for another dollar isnt wasting their time praying to God for help. But they get it. They get it ALL.

But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

3For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

5They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

6Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

7Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

8They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

9They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

10Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

11And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

13Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

14For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

15If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.

16When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

17Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

18Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

19How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

20As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

21Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

22So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

23Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

24Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

25Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

26My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

27For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

28But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

I believe everyone has a different breaking point. Generally speaking though, when you have nothing left to lose. So with people whose friends and family have taken the vaccine...Tick Tock.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80341869

That's the scary part, when you have nothing left to lose it becomes much easier to do some really crazy shit. The only thing holding you back is the core of who you are. That core has to be strong, without it keeping us grounded we as a species are capable of horrific things that usually impact the innocent.

I'm good, not about to lose it or anything but definitely ponder things much more these days.

On a happy note, we are about to get a monster storm in SW Ohio. I will sit on the deck and watch natures fury.

A prayer is for your own benefit and growth.

You snap when you surrender the effort. Meds are one way to snap quicker.

A prayer is not what you think it is. It's not a wish list or a begging session. That's not how it works, and it's been adulterated by many.

There is always going to be hope.

There may be a course correction.

Wealth is an illusion. It's too deep to explain here with so much to do. Suffice it to say, there is no greater happiness than simple living and love.

A friend used to say that life is a dogshit sandwich. Sometimes you get more bread than Shit and that's a good day.

I know many who have had their lives change almost overnight. The right people help.

If you cannot want your life, volunteer and allow someone else to benefit from your usefulness until you want it again. Walk dogs at the humane society. Feed people. Lift folks up online. Do something that is not about you.

Stop dwelling on the wounds. Ameliorate them and move on.

Re: At what point does one snap ?
Hopefully never. It all comes down to having a true understanding of the spiritual side of life. This is the biggest problem on this planet. We are and always have been spiritual beings first, having a human learning experience.

With the proper understanding and mindset, all the obstacles we face in this life are opportunities for learning some lesson. If we collectively knew this, we would treat our brothers and sisters much differently, as we would know that we are all one and on this journey together.

This is the mindset we all need to have to keep from snapping.

I think you kind of missed the point but everyone loves the man up mantra so okay.

I guess it depends on the person. Some people are tightly wound up and others are rooted in calmness, like me. The key is to always remain relaxed and don't let things bother you. It helps to put things in perspective and to realize that we are all in this together with a greater purpose.

But then some of you just don't seem to get that. You know, you go on and on and let little things bother you. I mean come on, get it together or you can bring us all down. I mean really. What the fuck is wrong with you people? You just like to whine. Fuck! Really? What is the matter with you people. So help me, ahhh...

There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Re: At what point does one snap ?
Suppose it's different for each of us.

We all fight battles, some more challenging than others, if you're lucky, you may catch a break before the next hand grenade is lobbed at you. Those breaks are good, it's a reset of sort. What if however there are no breaks, just more hand grenades, day, after day, after day.

At what point does the cumulative effect just become to much, mentally you become trashed, physically your body revolted years ago, yet somehow you push on just because. Long ago hope left you, you've stopped kidding yourself that tomorrow will be better. You still say your prayers, you remain grateful for what you have but you know tomorrow will be just as brutal if not more so.

How many days

People will either Snap and go full postal or commit suicide once things start looking so bleak that there is not enough food or shelter or future... This is why you will notice that .GOV will do things systematically and slowly. Just like Corporations. They don’t bend the branch quick because it will then break so they do it slowly. This is what we have been experiencing truly since NAFTA/911/OBAMA/COVID/BIDEN-HARRIS...

Well…thats the globalists game plan. They’ve been using the same plan for eons. Problem, reaction, solution. Create the problem, elicit the reaction you desire, and then you (the globalists that started the mess) ride in our your white horse with a solution! Its called the Hegelian dialectic.

Chaos is their religion by the way.
