At what point does one snap ?

An interesting question. It brings to mind the film apocalypse now; where at some point, each character snaps.
But what exactly is snapping ? I'm guessing there are diffrent levels of snapping with the lowest being an individual In a catatonic state, unable to communicate or defend themselves. And the highest level being someone who has lost their composure and is in a state of emotional and physical turmoil, but can still communicate and defend themselves.

People snap when they run out of answers to the complex problems of life. The real "problem" is that all of our problems in life are created by us. We're not victims. We're subjects of cause and effect. Be careful what you cause, because you might not be able to deal with the effect.

I've been shot, stabbed, stomped, hit by an exploding air bag, bitten by a Black Widow that threw me into A-fib for awhile. I've dodged death more times than Archer and Indian Jones.

I ache like a mother fucker. But, every time I think I can't go on! I remind myself I got a wife, a kid, and six siblings with kids of their own that need me. I got more reasons to live than not! And so do you! I remind myself there's some little girl or boy at Shriner's or Jude's that smiles when they are being wheeled into radiation or a bone marrow transplant.

We fight! We fight for all of them who can't. That's what humans do. We rage against the dying of the light. Not the light of our mortal coil, but the light inside.

That's the scary part, when you have nothing left to lose it becomes much easier to do some really crazy shit. The only thing holding you back is the core of who you are. That core has to be strong, without it keeping us grounded we as a species are capable of horrific things that usually impact the innocent.

I'm good, not about to lose it or anything but definitely ponder things much more these days.

On a happy note, we are about to get a monster storm in SW Ohio. I will sit on the deck and watch natures fury.

Hopefully never. It all comes down to having a true understanding of the spiritual side of life. This is the biggest problem on this planet. We are and always have been spiritual beings first, having a human learning experience.

With the proper understanding and mindset, all the obstacles we face in this life are opportunities for learning some lesson. If we collectively knew this, we would treat our brothers and sisters much differently, as we would know that we are all one and on this journey together.

This is the mindset we all need to have to keep from snapping.

And while all of those bad things you had happen are impressive you really have no idea as to whether someone has been through as much or more but it sure is fun telling everyone look at me, look at all of the stuff that happened to me.
