May I ask how you learned it? Grandkids helped me. I learned a few computer languages back in the day, had one of first Macintoshes so I was used to computers. But I was clumsy on the web till the grandkids helped me. Now its the great grandkids that help me with all the new lingo, I think I was the last person to now what bling was. I have a great great grandkid on the way, finally. That was one goal, now I have to reach a hundred. One of my grandfathers lived to 94. |

That's a big moment in life, the oldest person you know is you. But I have a girlfriend now, she's 93 but she is an athlete, does the senior olympics type thing. She is living with her granddaughter about a mile away, and I have been doing morning walks with her, and we have been dating for about a year. She is here now and will spending the weekend. She is a Christian lady so we are just seeing how we do when we spend a lot of time together. She is about 5' 4", thin and has very red hair, and she needs a GLP name. The Old Timer just turned 97 on May 28th. . . Thread: Almost forgot....today is my birthday....wonderful to share it with you all! *updated Holy crap! I hope I'm still able to post at that age. |

She is going to cook for me for the first time tomorrow, I'm a little worried. My house design in built around a wonderful kitchen. I still cook all the time, rarely do I eat stuff from a box. One of the 'secrets' to long life is to eat well. I still try to do the Mediterranean diet, and I usually have one meal a day that is a big salad. I fast at least once a week too. |

Do you see any parallels between then and now? I was just a kid but the enemy back then was focused on a single country, now it is a world wide deep state that wants a one world government. Now the enemy is in the shadows and completely unknown to most people, but on GLP its different, we know. Sometimes I think I lived so long because God wanted me to see the Antichrist, sorta like Simeon in Luke 2:25 living to an old age because he was promised to see Jesus. But that would be very megalomaniac but its fun to think about. |

Back in my 20s and 30s I had easy access to hashish from Lebanon, that was my preference. Marseille was the entry point for everything back in those days. My city probably had more countries represented than any port in the world. And I had a lot of underworld characters come across my table, and some of them were appreciative of being kept alive. I got the skinny on many business deals, helped greatly with investments. |

I got some nice ciabatta buns this morning. Her buns aren't bad either. I talked her into swimming in my smaller pond recently, her one piece suit clung nicely which was my goal, wanted to see what she looked like. I was pleased and told her so. She grinned and said she could tell, yep, looks like I don't need the forum to give me a doom boner. That was pretty shocking coming from her, I still laugh when I think of it. |

(OP) User ID: 79952697 United States 06/18/2021 07:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My rules for living longer: -Low carbs, lots of fresh stuff from the garden. -One meal each day needs to be a big salad. Except Sunday. -At least once each week just eat for a three hour period. -Feast every Sunday. -Keep moving, don't sit too much. I get a lot of exercise from walking with Ginger Granny and from my gardening. -Be grounded, I almost always barefoot. -Don't use aluminum or nonstick cookwear. -Always have a plan for the next year -Keep your mind active, I research conspiracies and do Sudokus. I should also monitor another class at Ohio Univ. Also I have been researching the Hopewell Indian culture, there is a dude from OSU that is the world's authority, I need to go to a lecture of his someday -Be kind to your colon. Eat lots of roughage. -Every now and then learn a new activity that will create some new nerve pathways in the brain. This year I tried to learn how to play the piano but I'm hopeless, music is beyond me. -When you are young you should do some long distance running to get your heart big and strong. Lifting weights will help your bones to grow thick. Always eat enough. I see too many young girls today that have a cylindrical rib cages, that's not healthy. But in the end genetics rule. Watch Hogans Heroes and look at General Burkhalter, that obese fellow lived to be 99. Adrenachrome might have been part of that though. Last Edited by Doctor Congo on 06/18/2021 07:08 PM |
