Can't do kratom. Too nasty. I do well with my supplements....and well, as far as pain goes, I'm just getting through it. I have been in worse pain in my life.

I probably could've gotten morphine in the ER, but I didn't ask, and they didn't offer.

Last thing I need is getting stopped up from opiates....gawd, that gave me the willies to think of getting stopped up.

Natural detox by drinking only purified water frequently, broth with fresh greens (bok choy, leeks, spinach, kale etc) hot baths are so good as well as steam. Apple cider vinegar in bathwater is good. Castor oil definitely for cramps. Used to hold a giant hunk of moonstone on my abdomen and meditate when nothing else helped.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80506202

Yeah, I've been putting my hands on my belly, and letting energy run. I haven't had a bad cramp for a couple of hours, so it is getting better. Sometimes I'm getting a little hot, but it backs down within a few minutes.

I don't have a moonstone. I have lots of other stones/crystals, but they're mostly for the heart up, with nothing for the digestive tract. I just googled what stones are good for my type of problem, and peridot is it! I also like that it works through the heart center.

I'm going to get myself a piece of it when I can get to the rock shop. I'm thinking I'm going to need all the help I can get.

Welp, I found a piece on ebay I ordered...'tis pretty. If you scroll down two rows you can see it--

Very nice peridot! It's so hard these days with so many toxins in every facet of our lives, just for the sake of modern convenience. It certainly has an effect on the body, and can be difficult to get many docs to take you seriously. Of course they have every test under the sun but testing can be biased!

I just got back from the ER after finding out my pain and vomiting and passing blood are from colotis.

I was given antibiotics, Flagyl and Cipro. I'm hoping they work fast....because I'm still in pain, not as bad, occasionally trying to vomit up my liver, and still passing blood, just a small amount...but I am very relieved to be at home. I hate having to go to the hospital....but I am scared.

The advise I'm looking for is just how you managed to get through this unholy hell, I'm not looking for medical advise. It's not as bad as having a bowel obstruction, but nothing is worse than that, not even a massive heart attack.

Is there anything I can do to have myself feel better?

I know probably not, but I'm asking. I haven't eaten anything for 24 hours, and I can't eat now. I'm hoping the antibiotics don't upset my stomach....I mean, I was still vomiting despite the IV Zophran in the ER.

I'm sipping on a little bit of water, but I do have aloe vera juice, and I know that will be as another healing agent. I'll get started on that after I'm sure I can hold little sips of water down, to larger sips.

Thank you for any advise you can give me. I am very scared what the colonoscopy will show, so please try to be gentle ACs. I don't want to have to block youse guyses again.

Get real Kefir grains, only use raw grass-fed milk. A family of four runs 80 per month for milk. If its just you about 20 -30 a month. Feed it every day and consume the kefir produced. I have never seen it not work for U.C. Store-bought Kefir is almost useless for UC vs real live grains, you will have to make a commitment to care for the grains but they will change everything for you.

I have organic carrots in my fridge. They are so good when roasted. They taste just like candy, they're so sweet.

I can roast some of those off tomorrow. That'll be easy on my tummy. Doesn't upset it...but veggies don't.

I have organic cauliflower, too. I'll just boil some off, add some salt. I was going to try to make cauliflower pizza crust, but pizza is not such a good idea now.

Chicken and rice soup, and carrots and cauliflower for tomorrow. Sounds yummy, and easy on my gut.

I think I'm going to feel A LOT better tomorrow. I feel it....flower

Look, there is a time and place for doctors. Had I of not gone to the ER when I had the heart attack?....I would've died, flat out died. The cardiology surgeon got the stent in, in enough time, and I am forever grateful for him and his wherewithal....putting a stent into my main artery, through my arm!

I had a BO last year that almost killed me due to dehydration. Had I of not gone to the ER, I probably would've died from that. As it was, my BP tanked and I stopped breathing while in the ER.

I know how to treat myself for minor things, but life threatening things?.....mikeno

I don't take any pharma that I don't want to, regardless of whoever is telling me I need to.

I take one BP med, that works incredibly good for me...I mean, despite my pain level yesterday, this usually jacks up my BP, it held steady. I take a cholesterol med, and muscle relaxer to keep my body limber. I have osteoarthritis pretty bad. I take a load of supplements for that and other things.

That's it, save for the antibiotics I'm taking now, and I'm going to continue to take. Period.

I know they will wipe out my gut flora, but I also know how to replace it.

While I have no respect for our medical system, I do have respect for those who have treated me....and if I don't have respect for them, they find out all about it. I'm not beyond ripping a crappy doc a new asshole. I can get epic with my rants....charlie

It's just beyond me that you think I shouldn't see a doc for whatever problem this is, though. I can take care of myself properly, in ways discussed on this thread, but just hating on all medical professionals isn't going to happen by me.

I happen to very much appreciate the ones who have saved my life. The staff was awesome with me yesterday. They always have been, save for one nurse two years ago, after a surgery, and she got her ass reamed by me, and the charge nurse.

I had that about 30 years ago, the doc put me on Polymox(sp) and told me not to eat greasy foods or dairy products, I asked him what do I eat and he said eat sweet rolls and drink 7up...lol, yes he did say that, anyway it all worked. One thing over the years I've noticed is when I start getting butterflies in my abdomen I know I could have Colitis coming on so I just temporarily change my diet and I'm Ok again. One thing that was novel about him sticking that tube up my ass and pumping me full of air was after I left his office I was Farting Forever...lol

Be careful. Make sure you find a good Physician instead of a run of the mill MD. That disease almost killed me. I had to have my colon removed because i tried some of the holistic remedies. I got sick one day and lost 50 lbs in a month and had to have emergency surgery to remove my colon. Its no joke. I have a BCIR now which is way better than a ileostomy. Just stay on top of your health and make a plan with a doctor that you TRUST WITH YOUR LIFE. I spent the better part of a year in the hospital. I tried to figure out how to heal myself instead of wading thru the BS till i found a Dr that would have helped and monitor me throughout the process.

Go see a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner for herbs and find a healer who serves Kambo.

Stay away from Milk, bread and other inflammatory foods.
Drink lots of bone broth (grassfed)

Try to follow a heavily restricted Leaky Gut diet. There are a lot of websites out there with Leaky Gut protocols.

Bone broth will be your saving grace. Mix some collagen into it. Again, all grassfed.

L-Glutamine Protocol to repair intestinal walls.
goodbyeleakygut.com

Prayers to you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80451888

This, 100%.

Bone broth will heal the gut. Until you are healed, you should consume only bone broth -along with plenty of purified water- for a few days. It's easy to make; find some beef neck bones, throw them in a slow cooker with purified water for 8-10 hrs. Strain it (freeze any meat for later use), then refrigerate to cause fat to rise and solidify, then remove it.

Eat no sugar-starve any bad bacteria that may be present.

People with ANY colon inflammation issues should avoid bread products that are not organic; non-organic bread is full of glyphosate because most of our wheat is "burned down" with it to hasten drying/harvest. Glyphosate was shown to basically eat holes through the digestive linings of insects that consume crops treated with it. And yet it is in our food.... SMDH.

Much luck with quick healing, OP. I know the pain you're in.

Oh, that sucks big time that it was stolen. Items that are "beloved" by us, it hurts when they're no longer with us.

My Love Rig?....it would just about kill me if they went missing. I'm hyper-vigilant about knowing where they always are.

BTW everyone, I wrote an article about this Love Rig I'm going to post on our website when it's done.

A Love Rig is a set of three stones, a piece of jeffrey, a piece of green chlorite in situ, and a piece of sugalite. The jeffrey and green chlorite in situ go in the right hand, the sugalite in the left. The arms are extended out in a V-shape, at the heart level, feet spread to shoulder width.

When positioned like this, you will feel the energy start running from one hand, to the other hand, and through your heart center. This cycle ramps up, going very fast. Heh, the first time these stones were put in my hands, I almost came off the ground, as in levitation. I was up on my tip toes, started laughing, and plopped back down on my heels....chuckle

It is a set up for healers, to build healing energy up in the heart center to share with the ones your working with, but it is good for anyone.

The Medicine Woman who told me about this set up made me promise I wouldn't tell any others about it (about two decades ago). She said it was too powerful, and wouldn't be good in the wrong hands. She has since passed, and I don't think something that is such a good tool of healing should be kept secret. We've had too many secrets on this planet.

I named it a "Love Rig" because I would come home everyday from my job as an addiction's counselor in a methadone clinic so very drained. I'm an empath and it was a tough crowd in the clinic....charlie

I started taking the stones with me to work in my pockets, and would use them in position when I got a free moment. I did stop coming home drained. I figured if opiate addicts had their "rigs" of destruction, then I had mine made of love, henceforth the name "Love Rig."

Also, I don't know that if you get these stones, you'll start levitating. 99.9% of the time when I put the stones in my hand I become so grounded....it feels like my heels have dug an inch into the floor. The only other time I came close to that, it was just my heels coming up, was when I was thinking about writing the article two weeks ago. I took my heels coming off the floor like that as a sign that I should let the set up fly, for others to read and know about.

If you are a healer, please do try to get these stones and use them like I've noted. The jeffrey is all mined out, but I have found it on the net for sale. You only need a small shard of it. The others should not be as hard to find.

Happy heart and love healing!....flower

Carnivore diet with organ meat.

Take a supplement with grass fed stomach and intestine.

OR fast or eat an elemental diet for a time to give your gut a break.

NO FRUIT! You may be fructose intolerant. Stop eating it and find out.
NO FIBER! Would you scrub a skinned knee with steel wool?

Half Past Midnight....hf

I found one of my stones I would like for you to send Reiki to! GLP Addict is going to post front and back pics of it, so you can zero in on it.

Hmmm, but I think I want to clean it first, so give me the day.

I'm a double Reiki master, and would love to see how this works out! I've put energy into my stones and crystals myself, but have never tried doing what you say, so I'd love to see.

It's a orange selenite piece, and I think that would be good for my gut, with your energy in it.

If you decide to, tell me, and thank you very much!....smile_kiss

Sounds good to me.
My energy is flowing towards to and the orange selenite already. I can't hold it back.
I will watch for the pics as I think that would help.

Heh, the pics are right above your post....hf

I put it in pink salt water for a bit. Selenite is brittle, so soaking it too long isn't good for it.

I did put the Cho Ku Rei symbol on it, and the Karuna Rama symbol to make sure there's nothing negative there.

I think it was cleaned up well enough, so let it flow, sister!

I'm going to put it on my belleh now....smile_kiss
