There is a rabies shot, from what I have heard if not pleasant to take, it cures it though, and you have to take it or die of rabies, because rabies is very bad. If there is an outbreak, they should be spraying to bring the rabies down. This was what they have down here in the South during outbreaks for a long time.

Yeah it’s one shot now, at least in my dads case it was. He left his window open during the summer months and got up to take a piss in the middle of the night, put his hand on the bed post and there was a bat sitting there, but him in the hand. One shot in the belly. He did say it hurt like hell. Regardless, yikes!
