They should have no problem fixing the damn with the waters so low.

Perhaps some of those nuclear boat engines could spin the turbines. When the lake is used as drinking water only there is probably lots of water. Underwater 'wind farms' would work well for both coasts of the US.

Maybe they can doze out the accumulated silt too.
