Christianity or paganism?
Christianity being defined as that belief system begun by Rome, later enforced by Rome, and which subsequently broke off into its protesting progeny, comprising of some 40,000 denominations.

Paganism being defined as the derogatory label assigned to all who would not bend the knee to Rome and its rules.

Following is a list of attributes known of a group that was mercilessly burnt at the stake for such infractions, and basically annihilated for their practice and beliefs.

1. They believed Gods temple was the heart and not a stone building

2. They did not accept glamorous costumes, but dressed humbly

3. They had no regard for the power structure of the Church

4. They believed that if God can be approached through one's heart, why the need for priests or rabbis? Now days we can include pastors.

5. They were totally dedicated to non-violence in all its forms, including animals

6. They respected and even revered women, believing in equality of the sexes

7. They believed in purity, chastity, and humility

Can anyone guess who this group was?

Can anyone affirm the correctness of the Church destroying such paganistic principles?

Wha? Huh? Um, no, you got it all wrong.

Christianity is merely Joodaism after the Messiah has come, fulfilled His role as redeemer - He will come again to deliver God's promise to Israel.

Biblical Christianity is real Joodaism - Rabbinic Joodaism is a false religion.

They were structured into initiates and non-initiates, like later secret societies.

Also their vow of chastity would make them the perfect depopulationists.

Re: Christianity or paganism?
My point for all this, is that Christians today assign the label of paganism to anyone who doesn't bend the knee to their belief system.

I'm just trying to help them be aware of the dangers of pre-judgment labeling

There was no freedom of religion at that time. Didn’t matter if they were pagan or some form of Christian or gnostic or whatever. The Roman Catholic religion was the only religion allowed to be practiced.

Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation.
1 Corinthians 1611 AV KJ Bible
Chapter 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Re: Christianity or paganism?
The premise of Christianity is the need for a savior, and Rome was the only one who had the answer for this. This patriarchal belief system is enforced the need of a savior on pain of eternal damnation, virtually banned women,

This "creator" god created the world without the feminine energy, selected a righteous few to fulfill a divine plan, the mission being to have a "plan" ...i.e., the necessary messiah, and finally devastating judgment in which the world is destroyed so that the righteous few can be saved by the accomplishment of Devine retribution.

Those who don't ascribe and accept this belief is labeled a pagan.

"A Stone of truth and rarity,
Given freely with sincerity,
Few believe or understand,
For evidence they do demand;
So here it is, as you ask,
Truth for you I do unmask;
Nature's simple, certain way,
Gives life and Hope out of decay;
For those who hear Nature's call,
Stand up strong and stand up tall;
With little time left in this world,
All the secrets will be unfurled;
From this book the wise will see
Life is not what it seemed to be;"

I'm 100% pagan. Btw the word pagan actually comes from pag i.e. circle. Thus pagans are in fact people from circular villages/forts/towns.
