Tangentially, did you know there are some who speak to their deity in their native non-verbal “body language”?

For example, let’s look very closely at how Nataly Hay “speaks” to her deity....

At 2:00, she prays in a body language that’s almost trance-like:

Dance for the Gods? Familiar with that and familiar with dance being a method of communication.
Communicating with (implying bi directional) Deities through dance and body language, hmm. I don't think so... unless you mean the first line I said.

Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?

I guess this might fit with communicating via energy/emotion, etc. Where the dance is causing a particular feeling to be raised within the dancer and expressed to the Deity (or crowd, when we talk of purely entertainment purposes of dance).

It's always about vibration. Build up and release. The cosmos 'speaks' through vibration and frequency. Words are vibration as well but sometimes they are a poor substitute for movement and thought.

Ritual sex magick is indeed a real thing used by some in the Craft but not all.

Like almost everything else in the Craft, everyone who practices this particular form of magick does it differently.

The basic principles are to build energy and release it. The sexual act being the method by which power is raised. Then when you have your 'happy ending' and you've set your intention, you've released that energy back into the universe.

You can do this by yourself but its preferable to have a partner.

Sex magick is old. Also symbolic. What's the deal with consummating a marriage?

In simple terms, think of sex magic as tandem spell working utilizing primal masculine and feminine energies unified toward a shared goal. That goal will of course be what each party is focusing their intent and will upon, each aiming to match the pre-agreed upon energy that is required for the task. As with any raising and releasing of energy to the universe, the whole thing should reach a crescendo and release at the same time.
You can see this sort of building to a frenzy and suddenly stopping with a big crash and cease of music, etc. in other spiritual workings.

Btw, totally the same principle behind a heap of practices.
Prayer in the congregation that are all speaking the same words, same rate, perhaps with music that all ceases simultaneously with their word "Amen", or whatever is the tradition "so mote it be", etc.

Pick any spiritual path and find where they are praying, chanting, dancing, drumming, rocking back n forth, sexing, etc.
You'll find similarities.

Now that I’ve slept and my Mind is more clear, let me revisit this:

Interesting.

Qigong masters speak of the same: Gathering Qi/chi and releasing it for various purposes.

I’ve read of witches forming a “cone of power”, raising energy and directing it to an end point.

As pointed out, this process of setting an intention, raising energy to a high point, directing that energy to the intention, then releasing that energy/intention can be accomplished through a variety of methods and practices.

Now that this is more clear to me, I can also see where important parts/aspects to this process are missing from many peoples’ “practice”.

I’ve pointed out previously that many who practice qigong/Tai Chi/Yoga are completely missing the point and merely going through the physical motions.

I’ve seen this repeated in YT videos of so-called “witches” who talk of energy but obviously with no understanding.

I can see the same with religious people merely blathering words of prayer and thinking this will have some magical effect.

Clearly, this is a process with elements in a specific sequence, but many do not understand the process and are missing elements, the most important of which is the raising of energy.

That said, can we discuss this “energy”?

What is it?
Are there different forms of energy?
How is it raised and intensified?
