To be fair, I've never tried to gain wealth or increase status through any magickal/spiritual method.
It's always seemed like an off limits thing.
In part due to what GW has spoken of, leaving it up to the universe.
What if the path of least resistance to me gaining a couple hundred thousand is the violent, bloody and early death of loved ones from whom I inherit?
There's potentially another sense of where this choice to not do such things comes from, relating to what I spoke to you about in email. I listen to that part of me when pondering things.

Something to ponder regarding ethics and power; One can only be shown to be trustworthy with power when one can show they are capable of NOT using it.
"Because I can" is not a good enough reason for anything.
