It’s perfect. I was concerned she would push Wicca but she does nothing of the sort. There is nothing dogmatic about her approach at all. I’m in Chapter 6 and I can attest that thus far there is no agenda. Quite the opposite. She’s written on the subject from a broad perspective that encompasses all forms and styles. She simplifies, clarifies, and makes understandable all of the confusing and contradictory “instruction” that pervades the internet.

This is a woman with a LOT of experience but is modest. She’s knowledgeable and well versed, yet doesn’t hesitate to show her humanity and vulnerability. She isn’t afraid to be herself to the reader. There is no effort on her part to persuade the reader she is “enlightened”, nor does she adopt a false persona. She’s real. She’s frank. She’s down to earth and straightforward. She writes casually as if she’s having a conversation on the patio with a friend, and she discusses her weaknesses and mistakes.

She cuts through all the bullshit and gets right to the heart of matters, yet she’s thorough.

It’s an excellent read that I would recommend to anyone.
