Indeed. On one level I don't think of myself as a free thinker. In some ways I'm tied to my beliefs as strongly as the fundamentalist. I'm willing to learn and question and I'd like to think I'm open to new ideas. But some beliefs are so ingrained in me since childhood. Does recognition of that and knowing that some things about myself are unchanging make me more or less a free thinker?
Can anyone absolutely, 100% call themselves a free spirit/thinker?
