You're certainly talking to a Ty, which is also not my name, at least according to some.
You're definitely talking with the Ty_ that is responding to you, and that in and of itself may be enough - if not the only way - to define which Ty be me.

Now for less querysparring (although maybe still irritating).
I feel it is correct to say some entities can or already do exist in more dimensions than other entities and that actions in other dimensions can and do affect the one we consciously occupy.
This "me" being a shadow of another implies that I am not the primary Ty, which, whilst I've no evidence to prove or disprove that I may be the primary Ty is somewhat alarming as that means there are lesser Ty's (and I feel for those).
Although it may also suggest that there are greater Ty's, that a "primary" us isn't "best" in any measurable standard by which we grade ourselves in this reality such as wealth, but instead is near to a zero point or middle way of the mulTyverse (:D).
Actually I wrote about this idea in here once before. The replication of actions of other us's in other dimensions causing a snowball of same-same actions that caused a vortex effect of us's merging to a central us-point.
