I personally seek out expert opinions in such subjects, not "the media". That being said, what is the media misreporting?
They are vaccines, BY FUCKING DEFINITION! This whole "they aren't vaccines" is plain RETARDED!
The vaccines ARE "safe", but, as with ALL vaccines, individual physiology can determine if its safe for the individual. Yes, people will get sick or die (no where NEAR as many as the nuts want others to believe) from vaccines from time to time.
To trust in, and learn about, science...is not "blindly" following anything! But, listening to random morons on the internet without ANY care about their level of knowledge/education/expertise, to reject science, is morons blindly following morons, you stupid hypocrite!
For every claim you morons make, there are thousands of TRUE experts that reject such nonsense.
