Totally unnecessary. Not sure what you mean? The original track is unaffected, just outputting real-time effects changes to a new track using bus routing. I guess for me, since I’m pretty new to Logic Pro, I still don’t know the best settings for effects I want to make. If I oversample a loop and play with settings in real-time, sometimes I get “the sound” I want. If I record my hot mess as shown in the video above, I can then trim up the segments I like and either bounce them to new mini audio tracks for my own library, or paste them around a song I’m making. Quite possible I’m doing this awkwardly.. coming at Logic Pro from a Final Cut background so my methods might seem backwards to the Logic Pro purist, dunno.
